Learning Experience Design Lead
Learning Experience Designers (LXD) play an integral role in our design work, and in evolving our business at NewCampus. As an LXD Lead, you hold a developed point of view about your work, and bring experience building cutting-edge learning experiences to our growing team.
As a Learning Experience Designer Lead at NewCampus, you will:
Drive and nurture new and existing relationships and communicate NewCampus’ programme design offerings.
Support clients by translating their organisational needs into meaningful and impactful learning objectives and leading others through the depth and breadth of your skills.
Spot opportunities for breakthroughs, seek out inspiration for the team and client partners.
Lead project teams in the design and development of virtual, cohort-based learning experiences, and create learning assets to support the delivery of learning in both synchronous and asynchronous formats.
Design for multiple touchpoints within a system to yield coherent and multi-faceted learning experiences.
Gather, analyse, synthesise and organise information from multiple channels and perspectives to develop powerful frameworks, lesson plans, and activities.
Contribute to building a culture of exploration, learning, and diversity of thought.
Our ideal candidate has:
Minimum 6 years of professional experience, with minimum 2 years in a learning-related role. Other applicable experience extends to education, organisational development, experience/service design, psychology, behavioural science and/or similar spaces
Ability to guide work and teach in one or more of the following technical areas: learner psychology & pedagogy, systems thinking and design, service design, assessment and evaluation
Excellent remote communication skills - you’re able to share your thought process, not just the outcomes
Ability to turn strategies into application
Deep conceptual problem-solving/research skills
Demonstrated ability to distill complex concepts into well-structured, and useable frameworks
Strong storytelling ability across written, visual, and verbal modes
Ability to build and use prototypes to test and get feedback on design directions quickly
Mindset to create an impact on the business education space
Global orientation and excited about the possibility of how learning can be used for personal and professional development
Nice to haves:
Ability to contribute towards business development activities or bring your own network of clients, collaborators, or talent
Diverse/generalist design experience across branding, service, systems etc
Project leading experience working with a team to accomplish ambitious goals
Experience working in an early stage startup (less than 15 employees)
Experience working with an international team and client base
Experience building and running your own business or project
